Buchanan believes that we can learn many principles of counseling from the life and works of Jesus. Essentially, he says that Jesus did not use any particular style, but that He simply uses His own style to direct people, or should I say help people, to live in the glory of God. "There is no neat answers, no formulas, only the wonder of people going out in the power of Jesus" (p. 156).
